Mrs. Bingaman

     

 

      Alycia Bingaman is in her 3rd year as the Director of Bands at Cain Middle School in Rockwall, Texas.  Prior to teaching in Rockwall, Mrs. B taught for 11 years at Curtis Middle School in Allen, Texas.  At both Cain and Curtis, her students have been very competitive in All-Region and Solo/Ensemble competitions as well as being consistent UIL Sweepstakes Award recipients at UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contest.

    Last year at Cain, our Honors Band won Best in Class at Festival on the Lake, Runner-up at the Lonestar Classic, Sweepstakes at UIL and 3rd place at the Area Honor Band Contest.

    Mrs. Bingaman is a member of Texas Music Educators and Texas Bandmasters Association.  She is also an active clinician and judge in the area.  Mrs. B graduated with a Bachelors in Music Education from East Texas State University. 

    Mrs. Bingaman is married to John Bingaman, percussion instructor at Horn High School in Mesquite, and is the proud mother of Robert Christopher Bingaman.  She is also mom to Booster and Rach, her beloved canine children.
